Here comes the snow,
here comes the cold
and here come the memories as I'm driving home.
It's a small, quiet stretch of road that I've learned to love.
With all of the lights and the stars late at night, but next to your eyes they just aren't as bright.
I know that it might sound cliche, but it's what I'm thinking of.
Driving home in the dark just to be where you are. Baby this year, I'm coming back to my heart and my soul, all the family I know. Baby this year, I swear that I'll make it home.
Because with you, it's not just a holiday, but a chance to look at the life I've made. With blankets just as warm as I left. Where my dreams took shape, where my heart would break, and where I put it all back together.
